Choose Healthy

Not Easy

A contest for POSTERHEROES

FOOD IN THE LOOP

The idea behind the poster is choosing healthy and not easy, and I represented the idea in the cans.
In 1795 Europe was fighting the Napoleonic wars, and the soldiers needed a way to keep their food from spoiling. But now people use it in their everyday life because it is cheaper and you can stack a lot of cans in your home for long periods of time.
The problem is that people don't realize that it is really bad for you because canned foods may contain deadly bacteria and it contain trace amounts of BPA  (BPA: is a chemical used in the internal coating of cans to prevent canned foods from coming in direct contact with the metal of the can.) So we should eat fresh whenever possible.
I tried to make the poster fun and appealing to look at to attract people and make them want to eat fresh food and stop eating from cans.
My inspiration was from the pop art movement and minimalism, and the fun vibrant colours and to give it a modern look that attracts people of all ages and makes them want to eat fresh food.
